- join a mission facebook group;

- purchase rebelfit clothing;

- subscribe to our weekly newsletter;

- request marketing to be sent to you;

- enter a competition, promotion or survey; or

- give us some feedback.

- we may receive information from you when you sign up for a mission using paypal.

automated technologies or interactions. as you interact with our website, we may automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. we collect this personal data by using cookies, and other similar technologies. we may also receive technical data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

we will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

• where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

marketing

promotional offers from us

third-party processing

we keep your information confidential, but may disclose it to suppliers or subcontractors (including our cloud-based data processing, data analytics and payment service providers) if it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, provided that they do not make independent use of the information and have agreed to adhere to the rules set out in this privacy policy.

for example, we may share your personal information with mailchimp for them to send emails on our behalf. mailchimp is a “data processor” for rebelfit. we will get your express opt-in consent before we share your personal data with any company outside the rebelfit group of companies for marketing purposes.

rebelfit uses facebook groups as its platform for running missions and for participants to share and post data which includes personal data (e.g. photos). the use of facebook is subject to facebook’s usual terms and conditions and its privacy policy. other than being able to close groups, rebelfit has no control over facebook or the participants in the group. by participating in facebook groups you are consenting to this processing and as such consider carefully what information you post in facebook groups.

opting out

you can ask us or mailchimp to stop sending you marketing messages at any time, either by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the email, or by emailing us as dataprivacy@rebelfit.co.uk

where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product or mission purchase.

cookies

you can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. if you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

change of purpose
